Customer Story
A Dream Home at a Fixed Price
The goal
Teresa*, a Te Awamutu mum of four, wanted to build a new home for her and her children.
She wanted something big enough for all of them, and also modern with a few luxuries.
With four kids to care for, Teresa* also needed to stick within her budget and didn’t have a lot of wiggle room, so cost was a big factor.
The process
Initially, Teresa signed up with another building company. She liked the design and what they had to offer, and the price seemed pretty reasonable.
However, as the process went on, the company increased the price to the point where it was beyond anything she could afford.
This happens with some building companies, and it’s a major frustration for customers with limited budgets who rely on price certainty.
Worried that she’d lost her chance at building her dream home, she reached out to ZB Homes to see if we could help.
The Outcome
Fortunately for Teresa, ZB Homes offers fixed price contracts, giving our clients confidence that the price is the price.
When you sign a contract with us, we’re totally up front with what it costs and we don’t sting you with extra bills you weren’t expecting**.
Our team built her home exactly the way she wanted (with a few extras).
The home
Teresa’s home is a 161 square metre, 4 bedroom house with black Coloursteel trapezoidal cladding.
Located on the beautiful Greenhill Drive in northern Te Awamutu, the home features a separate lounge, a bathroom plus an ensuite and a separate toilet.
The home has a few stylish touches, such as black tapware, showers and internal doors.
Teresa is beyond thrilled with her new home and says she can’t thank ZB Homes enough for giving her the home of her dreams.
